The Warwick Arms is a gem of a pub sandwiched between large office blocks under the shadow of 'The Blade'.

Recently refurbished and focusing on a Thai theme, The Warwick is airy and comfortable, with plenty of seating both inside and out.

The pub's clientele comes mainly from the nearby offices - for a lunchtime drink or after work gathering - but The Warwick really is worth taking a short walk out of town for if you want a break from the melee that can be the drinking circuit of the town centre.

There is a good choice of beers and wines on offer and the food is, unsurprisingly, Thai inspired, although the reviewer did not sample it on the day of the visit.

With friendly staff, The Warwick is a smart venue with a good, non-threatening atmosphere, and is about as far away from the 'old man' pub as you can imagine.

Well worth a visit.
