Ming prides itself on providing a ‘community hub’ for Windlesham - and you can see why from the moment you turn off the busy A30 and into the welcoming courtyard of the restaurant.

Set in an appealing white-walled ‘house’, Ming offers both Chinese and Thai food, with the ability to mix and match if you so wish.

The restaurant itself hovers somewhere between the formal and informal, and is both spacious and comfortable. The service and food are a cut above, and you are made to feel like a genuinely valued customer.

The chef has a deftness of touch with the dishes, allowing the subtle flavours of the authentic flavours to come out, without being overpowered by seasoning and spices.

Little extras included a round of drinks (either coffee or spirits) at the end of the meal, for no apparent reason apart from being a pleasant gesture.

Priced at the higher end (although by no means exorbitant), Ming is highly recommended for any occasion.
