This chain restaurant’s website proudly proclaims its food is “so authentic that your won’t find anything better in Spain”. Having eaten extensively in many different parts of Spain, we can state conclusively that the proud Spanish would probably be very offended by this statement and that you can, definitely and very easily, find better.
La Tasca serves cheap and cheerful ‘tapas’ for the mass-market eat before the pub crowd and is often frequented by large groups of teens. Much of the food is deep-fried, and often that is all you can taste. There is a wide range of tapas, as well as paellas and other accompaniments.
However, for those who want a meal in a restaurant, La Tasca offers an inexpensive feed served in lively and convivial surroundings.
