If you fancy a taste of Polish nightlife in Reading then Gospoda could be just what you're looking for.
Gospoda (formerly the Battle Inn) is an intimate venue with low ceilings and wooden decor and furniture which offers a warm welcome to all and sundry.
The clientele is mainly Polish, as is to be expected, but there is also a smattering of randoms who are there for a good night.
There is no 'them and us' feel at all to this venue, and the theme nights held at weekends are absolute floor fillers, making the venue hot, sweaty and buzzy.
With a good range of authentic Polish drinks and food, together with the UK standards, this place should appeal to anyone who wants to try something different.
Although Gospoda is a trek from the town centre, it's worth the effort to get away from the ubiquitous chain pubs and rowdy beer monsters who dominate the town centre at weekends.
Recommended for an alternative night out.
