This ranks as one of the better bars in Reading because it is friendly, has a mixed crowd and is one of the few places were you can enjoy a game of pool these days (there is a dedicated pool hall at the back). Aside from the ridiculously bright lighting, the venue is roomy and serves a good range of beers and wines. The staff are friendly and have an air of professionalism about them. A good place to meet if there’s a big group of you wanting to get a little bit rowdy in friendly surroundings.
